Chatham-Kent is looking for the public’s perspective on the future of the municipality’s transportation network.
The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is hosting a public information centre at the Links of Kent Golf Club & Event Centre on April 14 to give the community a chance to review a draft version of a new Mobility Master Plan .
The new plan will consolidate the previous Transportation Master Plan, Trails Master Plan and Transit Strategy into a new, comprehensive Mobility Master Plan. The Mobility Master Plan will set the direction for transportation over the next 20 years, helping the municipality to plan for and support how people move within and across Chatham-Kent.
Next week’s in-person public information centre will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the golf course at 120 Indian Creek Rd. W in Chatham.
All of the content shared during the meeting will also be available online on the Let’s Talk Chatham-Kent webpage for review and comments between April 14 and April 28.
Further public consultation is planned for early next year before the updated Mobility Master Plan is presented to CK Council.
