Meth, Cocaine, Fentanyl Seized During Chatham Drug Bust

Police have taken around thousands of dollars worth of illicit drugs off the street following a bust in Chatham.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service Intelligence Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Northland Drive on Tuesday at around 4 p.m.

During a search of the home, officers seized 77.5 grams of fentanyl, 26 grams of cocaine, and four grams of methamphetamine with a combined value of $16,000. Police also seized cell phones, packaging material, digital scales, and a quantity of Canadian currency.

As a result, a 32-year-old Chatham woman has been arrested and is now charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking. She was taken to police headquarters and held in custody for a bail hearing.
