There will be no splishing and splashing in Wallaceburg for several weeks this spring.
The Wallaceburg Sydenham Pool will be closed from May 24, 2026, to June 28, 2026, for scheduled maintenance, including essential repairs and deep cleaning.
Municipal officials say the work ensures the safety, comfort, and long-term reliability of the aquatic facility.
All swimming lessons, public swims, lane swims, aquafit and private rentals are paused during this time. However, there are other swimming options at the Gable Reese Rotary Pool in Blenheim and the Chatham-Kent YMCA in Chatham.
The pool is expected to reopen on Monday June 29.
