Final numbers are in from a run aimed at supporting students in need in Chatham-Kent.
The second annual Light up the Night for Noelle was held on Friday, April 24 with more than 150 participants making their way around Chatham’s Mud Creek Trail.
In all, $11,329 was raised for Noelle’s Gift to Children to providing essential items for students, including clothing, nutrition supports, hygiene products, and emergency needs.
“The generosity and enthusiasm of the community really continues to brighten the lives of children across the region and fuel the ongoing growth of Noelle’s Gift in Chatham-Kent” said race organizer and LKDSB staffer, Bryan Cowden, in a news release.
Organizers say as demand continues to grow, the expansion of fundraising efforts for Noelle’s Gift in Chatham-Kent is helping ensure that more students receive the support they need to feel safe, confident, and ready to learn.
