
A number of municipal services will be closed for the Victoria Day holiday on Monday.
The Civic Centre, all municipal service centres, Service Ontario desks, Entegrus, and the Public Utilities Commission will be closed, along with all branches of the Chatham-Kent Public Library.
Ride CK Transit services will not be operating.
There will be no garbage or recycling pick-ups on Monday, and collections for the remainder of the week will be delayed by a day.
For those looking for something to do on the Victoria Day holiday, the Blenheim Gable Rees Rotary Pool and Wallaceburg Sydenham Pool will be offering adult swims 12pm-1:30pm, and rec swims from 1:30-3pm with regular admission fees. Arenas and arts and culture venues in Chatham-Kent will be closed for the day.
On the health care side of things, some services at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance will also be affected by the holiday.
While some outpatient diagnostic tests will take place, oncology, ambulatory care, outpatient rehabilitation, and patient appointment offices will all be closed.
The Chatham-Kent Mental Health and Addictions Program Outpatient Department will be closed, along with the Rapid Access to Addiction Medicine clinic.
The Emergency Departments at the Chatham and Wallaceburg sites remain open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
