Surveillance footage has helped to identify a suspect in a property damage investigation in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers reviewed CCTV footage on Sunday after receiving a report of a fence being damaged at a Wellington Street property earlier in the day.
Police recognized an individual in the video, and the suspect was later arrested.
As a result, a 42-year-old Chatham-Kent man has been charged with mischief under $5,000. He was later released with a September court date.
