Charges have been laid after police found two people inside a boarded-up home in Wallaceburg.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service was called to the vacant home on Main Street on Thursday at around 6 p.m. after a man and a woman were seen entering the property.
The woman fled the scene as police arrived, but officers were able to arrest the man.
A 36-year-old from Wallaceburg has since been charged with break and enter, unlawfully entering a dwelling, and failing to comply with a release order. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
