Cascades Casino continues to pay dividends for Chatham-Kent.
The municipality has received $473,709 from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) for hosting the Chatham gaming site. The total payment is based on the amount of gaming revenue generated during the first quarter of the fiscal year from April 1, 2026 to June 30, 2026.
During the last fiscal year, Chatham-Kent earned $1,839,337
Since April 2001, the municipality has received $21,855,969 in host fees from both the former Dresden Slots and the current Cascades Casino.
The funds are put toward local infrastructure projects and community programs.
