Entegrus Energy put forward an offer to Amherstburg council last night to buy the town’s shares in Essex Power Corporation. Entegrus offered 12 million dollars for 100% of the share,s which are about 14% of the total company shares. Council will be reviewing the offer over the next 60 days. A public meeting to gather community feedback will also be held to discuss the deal. If Amherstburg accepts, the deal could close by the end of the year.
