Jim Flaherty, Canada’s former finance minister, died at his Ottawa home. He was 64.
The Minister did have some serious health issues.
The Conservative MP stepped down from cabinet less than a month ago, citing a plan to return eventually to the private sector.
There is no cause of death as of yet as authorities are awaiting autopsy reports.
