Local residents will get a better understanding of many of the candidates running in this year’s municipal election.
The newly formed Chatham-Kent Growth Alliance is hosting a Municipal Candidate Open House this evening at The Chatham Armoury.
Organizers say the event will provide residents and stakeholders with an opportunity to meet mayoral and council candidates and learn more about their vision for the municipality’s future.
The Growth Alliance is headed by the Kent Federation of Agriculture, and includes several local groups, including the Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce, Home Builders Association, and CK Property Rights Association.
Tonight’s open house runs from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.
