With less than four weeks until Chatham-Kent’s municipal election, local residents will have more opportunities over the next week to hear what’s on the minds of candidates running for a seat on council or the mayor’s position.
Community Living Chatham-Kent is hosting three open houses for those running in the Chatham area.
On Wednesday, September 30, candidates running for a seat on council in Wards 6 and 7 will be gathering to share their priorities and discus issues that will shape the future of Chatham-Kent. The event runs from 3-5pm at the Community Living in Chatham building at 1099 Park Avenue West.
Candidates running in Ward 8 will be attending a similar open house the afternoon of October 7 from 3-4pm, followed by mayoral candidates from 4-5pm.

Chatham-Kent residents head to the polls October 26.
