There are now two more candidates for the position of mayor – John Willatt and Reno Lachapelle each filed to join Councilor Marjorie Crew. Current Mayor Randy Hope has expressed his interest in his own re-election, although he has not filed his paperwork.. Ian McLarty has said he will run – but, like the current Mayor, he has yet to file his paperwork.
Hope has stated that a little competition is part of the democratic system.
We head to the polls October 27th, 2014.
