Donna’s Roll-a Sandwich

  • 16 slices bread, trim crusts
  • 16 slices bacon
  • 1 can mushroom soup, undiluted

Preheat oven to 200◦F. Roll each piece of bread flat with a rolling pin. Spread each slice with soup, a little thicker than butter, and roll up jelly roll style. Cut each roll into thirds. Cut each bacon slice into thirds and wrap around each 1/3 of bread roll. Put on an ungreased, foiled cookie sheet and bake for 3 hours. Can be prepared in advance, frozen and reheated as needed. Can use oven or microwave to reheat.
