Area farmers have had a hard year with the hard winter last year planting was delayed and then it was a wet summer that saw lower than average yields and they as crops were coming off the fields a snow storm and now massive wind damage has knocked corn to the ground and the Ontario Federation of Agriculture is looking to get crops covered by insurance expanded.
