An argument with his girlfriend means charges for a 30-year-old Chatham man.
According to police the pair began arguing Friday about the breakdown of their relationship.
The man told the woman to leave their Raleigh St. house, so she her things and left.
Instead of leaving well enough alone, the man followed her and continued the argument. At one point, the man hit her and she fell to the ground.
He is facing assault charges.
