The Wallaceburg Senior Citizens Club, Rotary, Jr. Achievement and the Mary Webb Cultural Centre are all getting a financial lift, thanks to the Chatham Kent Community Foundation and South Kent Wind.
A total of 20 Chatham-Kent charitable organizations will share in more than $100,000 in cash.
The money comes is part of a 20-year $10-million commitment from Samsung and Pattern Energy’s South Kent Wind facility.
Money will be used for upgrades and programming support.
