ATV Activists Back Before Council

ATVOnce again the issue of ATV use will be back before Chatham Kent Council.  This is the 3rd kick at the can for those looking to see an new bylaw put together that would give more access to the recreational/farm vehicles.

ATV’s have become a useful tool on farms and now are becoming more popular in the area on a recreational level.

According to the current legislation ATV’s are only allowed on municipal highways if the responsible municipality passes a by-law permitting such use.

There is a Pilot Bylaw in place right now in Lakeshore and that has prompted the ATV enthusiasts to come back before Chatham Kent Council one more time.

Who knows maybe 3’s a charm
