A chapter has closed on the way municipal planning is done in Chatham-Kent.
For the past four decades, Storey Sameways has handled planning issues in the former Kent county as well as Chatham-Kent since 1998.
Tom Storey says his fondest memories are off the people.
“It’s sort of a collective memory of all the people, there must have been several thousand of people we had talked to over the 18 years we’ve been doing this work in Chatham-Kent and that’s something that meant a whole lot to me.
Planning will now be done by in-house municipal staff.
