The Chatham-Kent Nonprofit Network is looking for a student who’s taking a nonprofit management class this fall in either college or university.

The group has a$1,000  bursary to dole out to one worthy college or university student.

Project Co-Ordinator of the Chatham-Kent Nonprofit Network, Kim Broadbent, says the money was made available by the family of Josie Matteis Doto. “She was a Chatham-Kent native who gave everything to the community through volunteering, especially through the United Way,” Broadbent. “When she unfortunately passed in 2015 her family came together and talked to united way and the nonprofit.”

Deadline to apply is Friday, July 29 details can be found here.
