The University of Guelph Ridgetown Campus is welcoming a new professor to the school.
Dr. Abigail Carpenter, Assistant Professor in applied dairy nutrition management, comes from Kansas State University where she completed her pHd in ruminant nutrition.
Ken McEwan, Director of Ridgetown Campus, says that Dr. Carpenter’s interest in the dairy industry and her previous experience working with students will be very valuable to the school.
Many students in the agriculture program come from dairy operations across the province. Dr. Carpenter starts hew new position in Ridgetown on August 2nd.
