$670-million has been earmarked in the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund to build and repair roads and bridges in small, rural, and northern communities.

The funds will be invested over the next three years, and funding is based on what the municipality currently owns, and what needs to be repaired.

This is part of the largest investment in public infrastructure in Ontario’s history, with $160 billion dollars being spent over 12 years.
