The Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit is issuing a heat warning.
Health officials say it’s going to be hot, hazy and humid into early next week with day time temperatures exceeding 30c/86f and 42c/107f with the humidex.
People should be on the lookout for symptoms of overheating such as rapid breathing, dizziness or fainting, vomiting and rapid heartbeat.
To battle the heat,remember to wear light coloured clothes, avoid strenuous activity and drink plenty of liquids.
