The Chatham Concert Band takes to the stage in Tecumseh Park once again tonight, playing the Best of Broadway.
Vaughan Pugh has been the conductor for the past 33 years, and is one of the band’s longest standing members.
He says they play a wide variety of music:
“We try to stay current with the arrangements,” says Pugh. “There are a lot of great arrangers in the U.S. and we have a huge library of our own. I just try to find a theme sometimes and sometimes it’s a pops concert, a real mix of everything.
They perform every Wednesday night at 7:30PM in Tecumseh Park throughout the summer.
