Chris June, chair of the Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce wants to make sure things like electricity prices, skilled trades and the climate change action plan are brought to the fore.

“We expect the city to act as an ambassador for small businesses of Chatham-Kent,” June says. “It’s the responsibility of the Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce to represent its members. We need to act as an advocate and for us to be able to take that to municipal leaders, they want municipal council to push these issues.”

Along with local staff and the mayor, Councillors Carmen McGregor, Joe Faas, Brock McGregor and Darrin Canniff will be in attendance.
