A Chatham man is facing a number of charges including assault.
Officers visited a young woman on Queens Line Wednesday afternoon to check on her well-being, and found a man who was under a court order not to communicate with her.
As it turns out, police say the woman had been the victim of domestic violence the night before, as well as during an incident last month.
The 30-year old man faces charges of uttering threats, forcible confinement, breach of probation, and two counts of assault.
