A Wallaceburg woman is lucky to have escaped with just minor injuries after crashing her car into a water-filled ditch overnight.
The crash happened shortly after 12:30 on West Lewis Line just east of Malcom Rd.
A passerby spotted the woman climbing back up to the road and stopped to help.
The 35-year-old woman is charged with careless driving and failing to report an accident.
