The Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent will benefit from a $7,500 donation from Victory Ford Lincoln.
The money is coming from a recent “Driven to Give” event at the centre held in conjunction with Bentley’s Journey.
The money will go towards treating people with MECP2 Duplication Syndrome.
Bentley is a Chatham-Kent boy who suffers from the rare genetic disorder that causes physical, intellectual and developmental complications, and has been using the services of the centre since he was five months old.
More than 200 people donated to the cause.
