Dajcor Aluminium is expanding, to the tune of $10.2-million.
The Chatham based manufacturer currently employs about 140 people and will look to add 35 more.
Company President Mike Kilby says the expansion comes with a push to other markets.
“We’ve had a lot of success expanding our building into the U.S. Into office furniture and LED lighting and other areas, and this going to allow us to meet the needs of those industries in the most efficient way possible,” says Kilby. “As part of our project we’ve added about 6000 feet of building space, and now we’re stacking thing vertically to make room.”
Kilby says the additional hires will happen over the next 1-2 years.
