A number of household hazardous waste items being collected today at several locations in Chatham-Kent.
Until 3pm today, Hazardous Waste Day will take place in Chatham, Tilbury, and Wallaceburg at the Public Works Garages.
Rick Kucera, Manager of Waste and Recycling Services says there are a variety of hazardous waste items that will be accepted.
Kucera says many of these items are illegal to dispose of normally because they are harmful to the environment and waste collection workers.
