Morning Fire Causes $150,000 In Damage

brucestfireA morning fire has caused $150,000 in damage to a Wallaceburg residence.

The blaze began when a car caught fire before 4 Thursday morning. The car fire quickly spread to the carport and attached Bruce Street home, where no injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Chatham-Kent Fire says approximately $100,000 of property was saved, thanks to the quick attention of 22 firefighters from Station 2 Chatham, Station 3 Wallaceburg and Station 5 Tupperville.
