The municipality is handing out free recycling boxes and reusable curbside bags in honour of Waste Reduction Week.
The boxes and bags can be picked up from the following locations:
Harwich Transfer Station
21633 Communication Road
Tuesday, October 18, 2016
12pm – 6pm
Wallaceburg Yard
105 Arnold Street, Wallaceburg
Thursday, October 20, 2016
12pm – 6pm
There is a limit of two boxes and one reusable bag per household, and residents will need to supply proof of address.
Meantime, the province is accepting nominations for the 2016 Minister’s Award for Environmental Excellence.
