Robert Simpson, Founder and President of the Wallaceburg Veterans and Families Support Group, says it’s important to honour them.

“These men deserve to be honoured,” Simpson says. “It’s the first time in the history of Canada we’ve had people killed on our soil by terrorists who are affiliated with ISIS.”

Corporal Nathan Cirillo was gunned down while standing guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Parliament Hill in 2014, while Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent was struck and killed by a car in Quebec just two days earlier.
