The municipality is paying tribute to some of its staff tonight.
A special ceremony is being held at the Capitol Theatre this evening as the municipality of Chatham-Kent holds its 19th annual recognition and service awards.
Employees who have reached milestone years with the Civic Centre will be honoured, ranging from 10 to 50 years, as well as retiring employees.
A total of 241 staff, retirees, and volunteer fire fighters will be recognized.
