A 16-year-old is being charged after an early morning incident in Chatham.
The teen was found walking in downtown Chatham around 3:30 this morning and was stopped by police.
The officer allegedly discovered there was a warrant for the teen’s arrest, and the teen fled on foot, causing a brief foot chase. He was arrested, and the officer found that he was in possession of crystal methamphetamine.
He’s being charged with possession of a controlled substance.
