Watch your speed on Ridge Line – a new speed limit is coming soon. 
Ridge Line at Kent Bridge Road has seen its fair share of accidents over the years, due to poor visibility and a couple of sharp bends in the road.
Changes are being out in place, but East Kent Councillor David Van Damme says he would have liked to see lights on the stop signs as well.
“The cost for the LED beacons was virtually nothing. $3100, it costs nothing after that,” Van Damme says. “It’s just an added measure of protection and assurance for drivers approaching that roadway intersection.”
The speed limit will be reduced to 70km/hr at the intersection, and some trees will be trimmed to increase visibility.
