A local man will be spending the holidays without a vehicle after being caught driving while under the influence on Christmas Eve. 
Police received a call about a suspected drunk driver on Badder Line near Merlin.
Once they located the vehicle, officers say the driver’s eyes were glossy and there was a strong smell of booze on his breath.
The 42-year old is charged with impaired driving, his license suspended and his vehicle towed and impounded.
