The Tree of Life Campaign is supporting the Chatham-Kent Hospice with a big donation.
The campaign was held at several Shoppers Drug Mart stores in the area this fall, and raised more than $20,000 for the end of life care facility.
Executive Director Jodi Maroney says the campaign showed how supportive the community is. “They ran their campaign for a few weeks and asked their customers to support it, and being our first year open it was really wonderful to see the great support,” says Maroney. “There were other Shoppers, in Blenheim for example, that held separate events.”
Maroney says that the Hospice relies on donations, and they’ll be holding an awareness campaign in the spring.
