Monte McNaughton, will carry the conservative flag into the next provincial election.
McNaughton’s first foray into politics was a loss in 2007 to Maria Van Bommel, before defeating her in 2011 and re-elected in 2015.
He was recently acclaimed at a nomination meeting in Glencoe.
The next provincial election will be held June 7, 2018.
