Charges have been laid against a Chatham woman after a fight with her common-law husband.
Police say the two got into an argument on Friday and the woman allegedly punched the man, but fled before police arrived.
The victim later told police his wife had threatened him in the past with a kitchen knife.
Yesterday morning, the 31-year-old turned herself in, and has been charged with assault and assault with a weapon.
