Today is Food Freedom Day. 
February 8th is the day that the average Canadian has earned enough to buy groceries for the whole year.
To mark the occasion, the KFA, along with a number of local organizations and businesses will be hosting an event and accepting donations to the Salvation Army and Outreach for Hunger.
KFA members will be dropping off local food like meat, fruit and vegetables to food banks and encourage others to do the same.
