The Salvation Army want so raise some money and awareness regarding homelessness through the annual “Raising the Roof” Toque Tuesday Campaign. 
Held yesterday, Captain Stephanie Watkinson says it’s about long term solutions.
“On the first Tuesday of February they have Toque Tuesday where they promote selling of toques,” Watkinson says. “But really promoting long-term solutions for homelessness.”
Funds raised benefit various programs at the Salvation Army, including utility crisis programs, soup kitchens, and other support services.
