A Thamesville man is facing charges, accused of robbing a local convenience store.
Shortly before midnight, police say a masked man walked into the Mac’s Convenience Store on Victoria Street, confronted the lone employee with a weapon, and demanded cash.
The man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
With support from the Chatham-Kent Police K9 unit and store employees, officers tracked down the suspect at his home.
The 29-year-old is charged with robbery, disguise with intent, and two counts of theft.
