The J.P. Bickell Foundation is handing over $10,000 to help cover the cost of the Chatham-Kent Children’s Treatment Centre Adapted Recreation Program, which helps more than 200 people between the age of 3-21.
The adapted recreation programs include sailing, sledge hockey, baseball, swim, dance, tennis, skating, gymnastics and soccer.
Programs like the adapted rec programs are run 100% through donation and don’t receive any government funding.
