The St Clair Catholic District School Board is putting more than 3.6 million dollars towards upgrades to some of its facilities.
A lighting retrofit project is being undertaken at Holy Family and St Elizabeth in Wallaceburg, along with a pair of Sarnia schools, with a price tag of over 327-thousand dollars.
Another 836-thousand is being spent on roof replacements at Good Shepherd in Thamesville, St Joseph in Tilbury, and St Michael in Ridgetown.
The lion’s share of funding, which comes through the board’s annual school condition improvement allocation, is earmarked for roof repairs and replacements at two Sarnia schools.
