Chatham-Kent Housing Services is launching a home ownership program for those in low-to-moderate income households.
Starting April 1st, loans will be provided for successful applicants to go toward the down payment on purchasing a home.
Households with a combined annual income of $68,000 or less can apply for the program, for up to $7,300.
The loans are interest-free and provided in the form of a 20 year interest-free loan registered on the title.
Anyone interested in participating in the program can contact Nicole McCutcheon, Housing Claims Analyst, at 519-351-8573, or by e-mail at [email protected].
More information about the program can be found here.
