A Chatham teen is facing charges in connection to a family fight over the weekend.
Police say a 14-year-old boy got into an argument with a family member in the driveway Saturday afternoon when things took a turn for the worse and the accused pulled a weapon.
The relative managed to get the weapon away, and the boy fled the scene.
The teen was tracked down a short time later by police and arrested.
Authorities say the teen was already under a court order banning him from purchasing or possessing any weapons.
Charges include assault, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and failing to comply.
