A program for at-risk students in Wallaceburg is in trouble once again.
Organizers of the PACE program, which stands for Partnership, Achievement, Cultural Awareness & Engagement, say they’ll have to shut their doors at the end of the month without more funding.
Coordinator Ken O’Neil says they have made some progress in the last few months connecting with potential funding sources and meeting with local health partners and provincial ministries, but at this point no long-term solution has been found.
The PACE program, which has been running at WDSS for 11 years, has been struggling to maintain its operations throughout the school year.
