A late morning incident at Accurcast in Wallaceburg is being described as a “minor explosion” by Chatham-Kent fire officials.
Firefighters were called to the Arnold St. property around 11am.
Crews from Wallaceburg, Tupperville and Chatham to deal with the smelting furnace, which was the source of the trouble.
Nobody was hurt, damage is pegged at about $2,000.
