The Province is looking for public input in the creation of a Chief Science Officer position.
They’re looking for what skills and experience Ontarians are looking for in a candidate who will strengthen science and innovation in the province.
The Chief Science Officer will help the government make decisions on science-based policy issues by relying on evidence and research.
The new role will also help to accelerate Ontario’s science and research, solidify Ontario’s reputation as a jurisdiction that believes the key to success and prosperity is investing in knowledge and science.
